Axle bearings

To keep the open bearings of the rear axle in optimal condition, we use Interflon Food Lube G. The Food Lube G Aerosol is a robust penetrating lubricant featuring Interflon MicPol® Technology, designed for heavily loaded chains.

Before applying this oil to the bearing, it should be cleaned of any existing grease and contaminants. There are various methods available for this purpose:

  • Ultrasonic Cleaning (using a 10% solution of Fin Clean All2): Prior to immersing the bearing in the ultrasonic bath, you can spray it with a loosening agent, such as Interflon Eco Degreaser.
  • Air Blasting and Followed by Metal Clean: After using Metal Clean, ensure the bearing is thoroughly dried with compressed air.

Once the bearing is cleaned, it can be lubricated with the oil. Spray Interflon Food Lube G (aerosol) into the bearing and allow it to penetrate. Remove excess lubricant with a clean cloth. 
It's important not to apply an excessive amount of Interflon Food Lube G (aerosol). A thin layer, with occasional re-application, is more effective than a thick layer.

Ultrasonic cleaning

Maintaining a clean carburetor is crucial for optimal engine performance. A famous saying reminds us that even a tiny grain of sand can disrupt a powerful engine. 

Carburetors are designed to be dirt-free, emphasizing the need for regular cleaning.To achieve this, consider using an ultrasonic cleaner. 

Ultrasonic cleaners operate at varying frequencies, with higher frequencies providing faster cleaning. This time-saving feature allows you to focus on other essential tasks while your carburetor undergoes a thorough cleaning.

Thorough Cleaning: Ultrasonic cleaners excel at cleaning engine parts. Simply place the components inside, add ​10% Interflon Fin Clean All2 cleaning detergent to water, and activate the generator. The process efficiently removes both large and small debris without causing wear and tear on the carburetor. By utilizing sound waves for scrubbing, it avoids abrasion and ensures the removal of all chemicals, promoting an extended engine lifespan.
