Dilan's passion for karting ignited at KCR Roosendaal, where he received weekly lessons from the skilled instructor, Corné Snoep. Indoor karting became his playground, and he eagerly participated in lessons and competitions, honing his skills and fueling his love for speed. However, in 2020, the karting landscape underwent a significant transformation as Kart Centrum Roosendaal was sold to PlayDome. Dilan faced a new challenge - finding a new home for his karting ambitions. After exploring various schools and training facilities, KWM in Poeldijk stood out from the rest. Dilan was captivated by their expertise and dedication to the sport. 

Though the distance posed a hurdle, Dilan's determination prevailed as he joined Indoor karting lessons at the Voltage in Tilburg in 2021. Dilan's commitment to his passion led him to new adventures beyond indoor karting. During a summer vacation exploring the Hanseatic cities, Dilan seized the opportunity to race on outdoor tracks. From Zwolle to Eefden, Lelystad, and beyond, he embraced the exhilaration of outdoor karting. 

It was during these travels that Dilan encountered KWM once again, this time offering outdoor kart lessons with rental karts at Lelystad. The thrill of outdoor racing left an indelible mark on Dilan, and together with KWM, he made the decision to join their ranks and participate in lessons at both Lelystad and Zwolle.

Months of dedicated training paved the way for a remarkable opportunity - an invitation to join the prestigious GK4 Honda 9HP class race team, supported by KWM, PDB (Peter de Bruijn Racing).With the support of Interflon (visit interflon.com) as sponsor, Dilan's dream of racing in the GK4 became a reality. 

Dilan eagerly embraced the challenge, first training in the Honda 9HP class under the guidance of Matthieu van Rensen, the esteemed owner of KWM. Dilan's journey was fueled by his passion for karting, the unwavering support of his team, and the invaluable partnership with Interflon. In January 2023, Dilan emerged as a rookie in the competitive GK4 Honda Senior class. Armed with a fiery passion for speed, unwavering determination, and the support of RaceXperience and Interflon, Dilan embarked on his next chapter, ready to leave his mark on the track.
